Personality/Background: Anjou was born the youngest twin of Kubikuro and Anjiti's first litter. He was the quite one, often leaving anything to do with noise to his older sister Kinara, and was equally happy to play alone as he was playing with his sister and their friends Magnar, Mazari, Kimiko and Karina. He was even keen on playing with the ghosts that he often saw thanks to the hidden power he had within him. It was thanks to the discovery of his ghostly ability that his parents discovered that he had tritanopia, that he was blue-yellow colourblind. According to Anjou, the only blue colour he can see is the blue of the ghosts he talks to, thus he is able to distinguish them amongst the red and green background that is the rest of his world.
It was thanks to his love for his Uncle Julien that he ended up getting a dragon morph when he was in his teenage years. Unfortunately, when his younger brother Shiro was born, things seemed to change within Anjou. He started to get protective over everything he owned and would often avoid his younger siblings as they grew up. But the one thing he would always make sure he did was follow his parents' words to the tee. Unfortunately, everything went wrong the day of the Makai Massacre.
The truth was, it was Anjou who accidentally killed Luigi Forza. For the first time in his life, Anjou disobeyed his parents' warnings about going to the valley on the day of the Makai Massacre and so witnessed the carnage that occurred minutes before he had arrived. It was because he was late that he witnessed Luigi rushing his parents and the other Rebels members in his fire lion form, forcing something to awake within him. True, he hadn't recognised the younger Forza brother at first, but with the adults calling out Luigi's name, he was quick to realise who it was and so determined that it wouldn't be good to do anything too drastic. Unfortunately for him, Anjou had never held a gun before in his life and so had no idea how powerful the weapon could be. Despite only aiming for Luigi's paws, the power in the rifle that he had 'borrowed' from one of the downed hunters proved too strong and, by the time the bullet was fired, the boy's aim was way off.
As soon as Anjou realised what he had done, he ran off to Lone Drover's Pass where he stayed hidden for days, with only the Lone Drover's Ghost to try and talk some sense into him. Thankfully, he was found by his Uncle Comet just as he was about to launch himself off the edge of the cliffs thanks to the weight of what he had done. Having to deal with the adults once he was brought home was tough and Anjou was just lucky that Bosko didn't press charges and that his father and Uncle didn't take him down to prison for what he had done. Anjou never touched a gun since and tried to stay well away from them no matter where he went.
Unfortunately, word about what he had done reached his younger brother's ears and ever since Shiro wouldn't stop calling him 'Shots'. Now Anjou and Shiro had a major case of sibling rivalry created ever since the younger of the two was born, but that hatred grew into something that no one could quell as soon as Anjou first heard his brother's nickname for him. The fights only worsened after that to the point where Anjou, once more, tried to take his own life. Because of that, the adults had to take things into their own hands and, in an attempt to protect Anjou from his brother, told the rest of the Rebels Kids about what had happened in the hopes that they would also try and stop Shiro's bullying.
When it came to relationships, Anjou was always cautious in getting into one, especially when - after what happened with Luigi - his old friend and first crush, Magnar Forza, refused to even acknowledge when he was around. But that wasn't the only thing that held him back. Anjou feared being rejected because of how he loved. He didn't care what gender someone was as long as he could love them, thus making him pansexual. However, for a short period of time, he offered to help Kovu Vitello in finding who he was due to the fact that Anjou discovered his sexuality a lot earlier that Kovu did. In return, Kovu offered to help get Anjou back on talking terms with Magnar... which was a difficult task in itself when Magnar realised what was going on and tried to avoid both of them. Though it didn't do much in helping get back in good terms with the older of the liger brothers, it did, however, introduce him to his first love, Elis Morgan.
Elis was a Welsh-Australian bi-sexual who, despite what Anjou told him about the gang being for morphers, tried to be the first non-morpher Rebel. Unfortunately, the rest of the Rebels didn't see Anjou's partner as a member of the gang and so would often withhold information from Anjou because of this. Yet despite this flaw in their relationship, Elis always seemed to make Anjou happy. The only day that Elis made Anjou sad was the day that he had to move back to Wales due to a family thing.
Once again, Anjou went through a dark period in his life and would not have come out of it if it weren't for his need to feel like the strong one in his family after the surprise death of the Rebels Leader, Choby Vitello. Only, he didn't just keep his family from breaking down completely. He somehow managed to bring together the rest of the Rebels children and even some members of the Rebels Ancient, Rebels Wolves and the Renegade Rebels which in turn helped bring together the rest of the Rebels. Thanks to Anjou's efforts, the entire Rebels Gang was able to keep strong despite their great loss. However, it wasn't until a few years after, when he was in his twenties, that Raimundo Vitello saw the making of a true leader in him and finally relinquished the title as Rebels Leader.
It wasn't until after he had been leader of the Rebels for a few years that Anjou finally met the person who would stay with him for the rest of his life. This person was a woman by the name of Teigan Berensen and was a lot like him in the sense that she was also pansexual. At first the two were wary of each other as Teigan had witnessed a fight that Anjou had led and he was wary of starting new relationships, but after a slightly rocky start, the two were almost inseparable. Two years after they met, the two were happily married with their first child on the way - a little girl they named Aurora. Anjou was graced with twin sons Magnus and Elias a year later followed by another son two years after by the name of Shannon who later changed his gender to be a female. Finally, as a surprise to all when Shannon was five, Anjou was graced with the birth of his youngest child, a daughter named Tahlia.
Anjou did all he could to try and keep his gang life away from his family, but despite that, he always made sure to be there for them... especially in times of trouble. He worked hard as a builder, having started his career as an apprentice under Kaygis Valore, and lived a happy life trying to keep his family in the dark about his ability to talk to ghosts least he scared them. When the time finally came, he passed on leadership to the grandson of Kaygis and died an old, but happy man in the safety of his home.
