Distinct Features:
Personality/Background: Born in Tasmania to two 'hidden' thylacines (thylacines who gained a human morph in order to escape persecution from humans), Camira is the eldest of twin girls with both she and her sister, Lakkari, being born as thylacines themselves. Once both she and her sister started to emerge from their mother's pouch, they were deemed old enough to start shape-changing into humans like their parents before them. But it was as the twins got older that Camira, at least, realised that not everything was happy within their 'hidden' family. Oftentimes, Camira's father, Mukra, would return home from work angry, which the young thylacine would later realise was because he was drunk. That meant both she and her younger sister needed to be quiet or else they would be punished for being too loud.
And his drinking only got worse when, at the age of six, Camira lost her mother, Nuyina, to a car accident. Neither of the girls were told who it was that had caused the car accident, but Camira was smart for her age. She started to suspect that her father had caused the accident through one of his many drunken stupors, especially when the police came knocking on their front door in search of Mukra after he failed to attend a court hearing. With both Camira and Lakkari having a quiet lunch because their father was still asleep, neither of them knew what to do. They weren't supposed to wake their father up, after all, nor were they supposed to answer the door. The choice was made for them when police broke through the front door and started searching the house. It was shortly after that, with the lead officer in the kitchen with the girls, that one of his subordinates found Mukra's body still in bed; he had died during the night without his daughters realising.
Camira and Lakkari were taken back to the police station with a bag each full of their things. From there, they were introduced to a woman named Avis Cloer, who took them to the orphanage where she worked. There, it was discovered that Camira was the quieter of the twins and was often telling her more sociable sister not to get herself into trouble or be too loud. The orphanage staff also discovered that the twins could morph thanks to one particularly bad storm which found the twins huddled in a corner in their thylacine morphs, and their discovery had both Camira and Lakkari begging them not to lock them up or kill them, like their parents had both feared would happen thanks to it being instilled into them when they were young as well. While the orphanage staff agreed to not harm the girls in any way, they also could not ignore the fact that they were both morphers either, which had to be put into their adoption files.
Surprisingly, the girls did not have long to wait after this discovery before they were adopted by an Irish-Australian family, the Quinns, who were more than happy for the twins to join their birth surname to their new adopted surname. The only thing the adoption meant for the girls (other than the fact that they were getting a new family that was 'better' than what they had before) was the fact that they had to fly from Tasmania to Sydney and then travel, by car and boat, to the island of Mythos off the New South Wales coast. Also, they now had an older brother. Surprisingly, Elliot loved having two new sisters and made sure that they were comfortable within their new lives. Something which Lakkari took to quite easily despite how she grew up.
Camira, like with when she first entered the orphanage, was both quiet and wary of her new surroundings. But somehow, that drew Elliot towards her more. Something which she would later come to love about her new big brother. And her love for Elliot only seemed to grow when, after accidentally walking in on her in her thylacine form when the twins were thirteen (something which both Camira and Lakkari begged their adoptive parents not to tell anyone about), the boy decided he needed to get a morph himself. Not to mention it surprised everyone with his choice of morph, a thylacoleo. But no one could deny that it seemed to bring the three children closer together.
Surprisingly, it was Camira who discovered the Rebels Gang and their sub groups. While she, Elliot and Lakkari were out for a night time walk in their animal forms, Camira had heard voices coming from the beach. Curiosity got the better of her, mainly because she also heard animal calls coming from the same direction, and she led the family into hiding nearby. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on who you talked too), the three weren't as quiet as they thought they had been and they were quickly discovered by twins Felix and Krystal Moore, two dire wolf morphers with keen senses. After a surprisingly friendly chat with the majority of the Rebels members, including all of the leaders, the three were offered a place in the Rebels Ancients group. The only one who did not accept was Lakkari, who was more than happy to continue her life as it was with the friends she had. Camira and Elliot happily accepted the invitation and the thought of new friends (even if it was slightly overwhelming for Camira at first).
When it came to love, and as usual, Camira was cautious about finding it. That is until she saw a slightly strange thylacine at the wedding of the Vitello twins and their partners. Slightly strange because she had seen him before as a human, but he always seemed to hide his thylacine form a lot. It was her brother who found this thylacine under one of the tables and had coaxed him out and towards where she was happily dancing on the edge of the dancefloor. Not even Camira knows how she managed to get Caloghan, informally known as Carlos, to morph into his human form and just enjoy the night, but she managed to get him somewhat dancing. From that day on, the two were often seen talking to each other and soon they announced that they were boyfriend and girlfriend. Although it was another four years before they got married themselves.
Two years after their marriage, Camira and Caloghan were gifted with the births of three thylacine pups. It was Camira's idea to name her three children with names that start with the letter 'T', and so the two names their two sons Tiggs and Topeka and their daughter Tathra. After their births, Camira realised that she needed to follow her heart when it came to a job. So she quit her job as an office administrator and found a job where she could teach dancing, and immediately her mood seemed to lift. After a few years, she managed to gain enough money to open her own dance studio, Pulse Enchantment. But as with a lot of things in her life, Camira was surprised to find herself pregnant once more, five years after the births of her first set of triplets. Caloghan was surprised, too, though in a happy way. So the family welcomed three more thylacine pups into the world; a boy named Doren and two girls named Dashka and Dorla (Caloghan decided the litter names needed to start with the 'D').
