Personality/Background: Despite being 50 years old, Mikka is actually quite young in kitsune years. This makes her look like she's a teenager in the eye of humans. And, like all teenagers, she hates being looked down upon by adults... but she secretly laughs at them because she knows that she will outlive all the adults. This, of course, is said whilst forgetting that she will, one day, become an adult herself. Something that Julien likes to remind her of whenever he is close enough to overhear and respond to. The sad thing is, she will always find a way to annoy Julien, no matter what he does to stop her. One of her favourite annoyances to use is calling Julien, 'Keeper' - especially in public.
Mikka was born in the Isle of Dragons alongside her brother Tiro and, up until she was weaned, was cared for by her mother. The night she was weaned, her mother picked up her two kits and carried them to where their father lived. While Tiro slept on during the exchange, Mikka had awoken and watched as her mother walked off into the night. From that day on, Mikka grew up around her father, a purebred Sakhalin Husky (Karafuto Ken) by the name of Ayumu. To this day, she remembers watching her mother's nine tails disappear into the night and has made it her mission to find out why Chinatsu left her last children. She joined a school study abroad program to study the world beyond the Isle of Dragons in an attempt to help her find her mother. Though this led her to Julien and the Rebels, she merely saw it as a detour on the road to her ultimate goal. The Rebels lost track of her when she moved to Japan after the death of Choby.
It was when she was one hundred years old and had gained her second tail that Mikka learnt of her mother's fate; she had left her youngest children with their father in order to die in her homeland of Japan. Fifty years later, she found herself a mate in a red, pure-blood kitsune by the name of Kyuharu. Together they had two sons, Dashi and Kaiba, and though she and her little family stayed in Japan, it was Dashi's grandson, Sokka, who returned to Mythos Island. From there, Mikka's bloodline returned to the Rebels in the forms of her great-great grandsons Anko and Jakku.
